Over the last fifty years Mr and Mrs Mottahedeh of New York amassed a huge assembly of this ware, which in depth and variety is unprecedented. Mildred Mottahedeh has now placed the Collection on loan to the Virginia Museum where, for the first time, its full range can be appreciated.
