Height 32 mm (1.26 inch), diameter of rim 200 mm (7.87 nch), diameter of footring 127 mm (5.00 inch)

 

Dish on footring with fluted sides and a foliated rim, decorated in underglaze blue with  a couple on horseback hunting in a landscape. On the sides and rim ribboned Buddhistic emblems divided between stylized lotus flowers. On the reverse sixteen single flowers. Marked on the base the six character "Da Ming Cheng hua nian zhi" mark in a double circle.

 

This type of decoration is known as Joosje te paard of de op de konijnenjacht in The Netherlands.

 

Condition: Three tiny glaze fleabites to the rim.
